Unlike other vision software available in the market, SmartVision provides the machine vision solution specifically tailored for metrology of today’s complex connectors. Developed using proven and powerful vision tools from Cognex, it provides a suite of tools which allows the engineers to focus on measurement details rather than programming.

Combining a pioneering ‘Autolearn’ approach with the Tricoder to recipe generation, Smartvision reduces package setup to a simple matter of selecting the desired test images and performing an autolearn to place the tools. This is an ideal scenario especially for machines running low volumes but high mix of connectors.

What is Autolearn?

Smartvision allows the user to define a set of tools which will be included in the recipe when a particular pattern is found. Once the complete set of required tools is defined, they are saved as a learn tool file. During Autolearn, the software uses the search patterns and inserts the tools automatically saving valuable time.
